The “PiranhaVac” unit is the only system
available on the market which effectively cleans the Vacuum Toilet System whilst all of the toilets remain in operation. As a
result, the cleaning can take place at any time whilst the vessel is in the shipyard, on the quay side or even underway carrying a full complement of crew and guests.
The cleaning technique allows the operator to perform the cleaning without any effect or disruption
to the vessel’s normal operation.
The Marinevac cleaning method is specifically designed to clean vacuum pipe lines, especially
LORO and BLÜCHER piping where the push fitting joints are designed
to tighten under vacuum, it is not recommended that this type of piping is cleaned under pressure.
